QUINCY 250 MILE MOUNTAIN ROADS DAY DRIVE

253-mile route from Lincoln to Oroville, Highway 162 to Quincy, highway 70 back to Oroville, and return to Lincoln

Picnic lunch at Ganser Park in Quincy

Pack your own lunch or you can buy lunch at the Subway in Quincy.  We will make a stop at Subway prior to entering Ganser Park. 

To enjoy less traffic on the roads, this drive will depart at 7:00 AM

Members of the Shasta Region will be joining us on the loop from Oroville to Quincy and back to Oroville

Planning for run groups of 8.  Capacity limited so register early to not miss out. 

Registration Fee:  $10.00 per car

Meet up Starbucks in Lincoln, 640 Twelve Bridges Rd, Lincoln (Note:  Starbucks opens 4:30 AM)   Gas station on site.

6:45 AM

Important information about this drive:

Long portions of this route are very technical and comprised of continuous tight turns.  Not recommended for passengers that are susceptible to motion sickness or persons uncomfortable with extended periods of high g-load turns.  

Long stretches of roads without services.  Make sure your car is in good mechanical condition, has good tires and inflated properly, and you fill your gas tank in order to make the distances to be driven.
